I just got an invite from one of my professors to attend the Director’s Guild Awards at the end of the month. The problem is that Dinner alone is $175, plus a few hundred for airfare and a few more hundred for hotel. Then factor in my having to pay rent for next month and the fact that I need to have the money for the event this week and I can’t afford to go. =(
